A plan for my Chikantra mask. I'm thinking I'm going to have to start off making it in two pieces (the main part and then the lower jaw) and combine them once I have the pieces completed. I want the mouth to be an actual opening so the mask will be better ventilated.

The measurements are very rough. I'll figure it out more and tailor it so it'll be closer to my actual size once I get the materials.

Ideally, I'd like to have the eyes made out of clear glass so I won't be limited so much in terms of sight, but just painting it and having eye holes might be easier on me.

This is just a rough sketch. The real 3D thing might come out looking completely different, but it's an ideal.

This mask would be accompanied by a wig of long, straight black hair along with lots of rings, feathers, etc. This is just the barebones facial structure.

I'm looking forward to making this. It's a little ambitious for someone like me who only dabbled in making masks twice in my life, and that was just simple grade-school-level paper mache.
